    At SalHub ("SalHub", "we", "us", "our"), we take privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you access or use our website, marketplace, provider listings, request flows, workspaces, and related services (together, the "Platform").

    SalHub is a marketplace for business events and workshops. It helps organisers and companies discover providers, send requests, and coordinate projects in one shared workspace.

    If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Platform.

    1. Who we are (Controller)

    Unless stated otherwise, SalHub is the controller of personal data processed through the Platform.

    2. What data we collect

    A. Organisers / business users

    When you browse SalHub, submit a request, create an account, or use a workspace, we may collect:

    • name and contact person details
    • company name, if provided
    • email address
    • password and login credentials
    • optional phone number
    • event or project information, such as event name, date, location, guest count, notes, requirements, and selected providers or packages
    • messages, attachments, tasks, notes, and other content you add inside a workspace
    • communications with SalHub support

    B. Providers

    When you create a provider account, listing, or package, we may collect:

    • account and login data
    • first name and last name
    • company name, where applicable
    • email address and phone number
    • category and subcategory selections
    • business profile details, including bio, website, languages, city, service area, travel radius, and availability
    • listing and package content, including descriptions, pricing information, guest ranges, service details, photos, videos, menus, brochures, and portfolio items
    • internal account or listing status
    • documents or compliance-related information you upload
    • communications with organisers and with SalHub

    C. Technical and usage data

    When you use the Platform, we may collect:

    • IP address
    • browser type and device information
    • operating system
    • referring pages
    • pages viewed and actions taken on the Platform
    • timestamps, log data, and basic usage analytics
    • cookie and similar technology data, where applicable

    D. Future payment data

    If SalHub later introduces integrated payments through Stripe or another provider, additional payment-related data may be processed. SalHub does not generally store full payment card details itself.

    3. How we use your data

    We use personal data to:

    • operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
    • create and manage accounts, listings, requests, and workspaces
    • allow organisers to send requests and communicate with providers
    • allow providers to receive, review, and respond to requests
    • support coordination through chat, file sharing, tasks, notifications, and workspace tools
    • review provider profiles and manage listing approval or publication status
    • provide customer support and respond to enquiries
    • send service-related notifications
    • monitor performance, reliability, and user experience
    • protect the Platform against fraud, abuse, spam, unauthorized access, and other misuse
    • enforce our Terms and protect marketplace integrity
    • comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or enforcement obligations

    Where the GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

    A. Between organisers and providers

    If an organiser sends a request, relevant request and contact information may be shared with the selected provider or providers so they can review the request, respond, and coordinate the project.

    B. Service providers / processors

    We may share data with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the Platform, such as providers of:

    • hosting and cloud infrastructure
    • databases and authentication
    • email delivery
    • file storage
    • analytics and performance monitoring
    • customer support tools
    • payment processing, if introduced later
    • security and fraud prevention tools

    C. Legal and operational disclosures

    We may disclose data where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from authorities, enforce our Terms, or investigate fraud and security issues.

    D. Business transfers

    If SalHub is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or similar transaction, personal data may be transferred as part of that process, subject to applicable law.

    Some provider profile and listing information is intended to be public or visible within the marketplace. Other data may remain private or limited in visibility.

    13. AI-supported features

    SalHub may use AI-supported tools or features, such as drafting, recommendations, summaries, or project assistance. Users remain responsible for reviewing content before relying on it.

    14. Third-party links and services

    The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

    15. Children

    SalHub is not intended for children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the Platform.
